About

Valentina is a London-based dancer, choreographer, and movement director. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Dance Studies from the University of Malta and Middlesex University, and a Master's degree in Choreography from Trinity Laban. Currently she works as a freelance dance artist, having recently worked with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, English National Ballet, and serveral independent artists.

Valentina's choreographic practice is grounded in a highly physical contemporary language that oscillates between balletic lines, floor work, and intricate gestural movement. She combines technical training with creative improvisation tools in her teaching practice. Her interest in literature is reflected in her intermedia collaborations and the theatrical aspects of her work, which she aims to explore further in her future artistic endeavors.
